About Belt Salon

Belt Salon was founded by John and Laura Belt in 2022.  Laura has always had a passion for hair and fashion since a young age and has extensive training and experience in the beauty industry.   John has many years of experience in organizational leadership and has always had the desire to be an entrepreneur.  

Like so many other people, the Covid-19 pandemic created challenges that caused John and Laura to have to make changes in their day-to-day activities.  This ultimately led to the vision of Belt Salon.   Their various backgrounds made the perfect team to launch a business.  They worked tirelessly for over a year fine-tuning their vision and making it a reality.

They both decided from the beginning that one of their core values would be to serve the community.  Not only serving their guests, but they wanted to find ways to help those in need.  Laura every year gives haircuts to kids in need before school starts to get them off to a great start for the school year.  Laura is going to continue this tradition within Belt Salon and has paired up with the local food pantry.  John serves on the board of directors for Hope Family Services.  Hope is a non-profit organization that helps women and children that are victims of domestic violence.

They are both so grateful for the community and the opportunity to give back.  They look forward to meeting everyone and bringing value to the community.
